Story: In this first time ever 'single shot' romantic comedy, David Rosenberg has mere hours to find a woman to marry before his wealthy father gives his entire inheritance to his young spoiled stepmother. To make matters worse, David's live in girlfriend breaks up with him for being forced into a marriage. All seems lost until the family lawyer convinces David to post an ad on the 'world wide web' to find a wife and take whatever comes his way. It instantly becomes clear that David is in over his head. Somebody Marry Me (2013) Review by amckenzie2005 from United States
No spoilers here. I saw this movie at the Cinema At the Edge FilmFestival this weekend and it was so funny and so sweet!!! I loved it. Igot absorbed into the the movie and lost track of time. It wascompletely engaging. Ray Abruzzo has the best facial expressions! Allof the actors were superb. There are no lulls in the story. It justkeeps moving forward. I can't wait to see this on a big screensomewhere.
I also just read that the film received the Audience Choice BestFeature Film Award at that festival. What a great achievement for thecast and crew.
