This has got to be the worst premise a movie has been given in a longtime, I mean come on. The only thing I can say is I hope Ryan Reynoldshas not damaged his career after appearing in this. And as for ruinedcareers, Jeff Bridges role is worse.

It could have been much better. The script was semi-awful and thedirection was terrible. At points in the film, it is hard to rememberwhich world you are seeing, the Reynolds/Bridges characters or theAvatars that really represent them. An old Chinese man as Reynoldsavatar and a beauty as Bridges'.

If the film "Monkeybone" comes to mind, that is what I am reminded ofwhen I write this. "R.I.P.D." was just as dumb!
